Brief Description of Route

From top of Zwaanswyk Rd through forest up and over Steenberg ridge to Noordhoek Peak and return.

Rendezvous and Start Time

RV at the top of Zwaanswyk Rd. ready to start running at 0630

How to get there?   Drive up Tokai Rd go around the circle, past the golf course towards the Manor House and just after passing Forest Glade the road forks.  .  Go left into Zwaanswyk Rd and follow up the mountain to the end.  Beware the road narrows, has very sharp bends and hidden driveways so go carefully.  Be on the lookout when parking on the mountain side of the road at the top as there is a deep grass covered gutter.

Terrain and Distance

Undulating start but then a good climb up to Steenberg and roller coaster across to Noordhoek peak and back. Distance will be about 10.5 kms taking us more or less  2hrs 45 to 3hrs.
